Kevin Koett grew up in Pleasant Hills, PA, about 10 miles South of Pittsburgh. His athletic career began at 4-years-old when he first started playing hockey. Other sports such as soccer, baseball, and volleyball came into the picture during the offseason to physically fit. Kevin attended Slippery Rock University in the Fall of 2018 to continue his hockey career and earn his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, which he obtained in Spring 2022. The Exercise Science program enhanced Kevin’s knowledge in the development and education of proper exercise techniques. Being a part of the sports world spiked his interest in training athletes to which he applied for an internship at Summit Athletic Training under Parkes Knepshield. Upon graduation in 2022, he accepted a position as an Assistant Strength Coach for Summit Athletic Training. Kevin is continuing his education at Seton Hill University to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and will continue to work alongside Parkes to help develop the athletic performance of every client.
